The duo behind the krauts gallery are Wolfram Glatz and Hannes Seibold. The gallery represents and presents young contemporary artists from German-speaking countries. The spectrum ranges from current tendencies such as Urban Art and Writing to photography and oil painting. With headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany, but without a permanent exhibition space, the krauts gallery moves from city to city and sets up camp there for short periods time. It is part of the gallery’s concept to respond to the most diverse environments, to re-invent them and to thus create a temporary art space. The staging and the adaptation of the space to the artist’s ideas is understood as a creative process in its own right and is transferred into the exhibition space: a "gesamtkunstwerk" evolves.
Combined with music, fashion, and fine cuisine, the krauts gallery invites the audience to experience a creative clash.
The artists presented are:
Stefan Strumbel, Sandro Kopp, Smash 137, case, and RuediOne.
On the 05th of April the krauts gallery started its "Worldtour" with a "creative clash" at the Lange Nacht der Museen Mannheim/Heidelberg/Ludwigshafen. More than 6.000 People visited in just one Night the Exhibition and wittnessed this maggic happening. More about the "creative clash" in Mannheim you'll find here
